My practice unfolds through sculpture, film and speculative fiction. Drawing on scientific references, historical archives and site-specific fieldwork, I construct semi-fictive worlds, often aquatic, hybrid and future-oriented, in which dominant human-centred narratives are disrupted and reimagined. Central to my work is water as a material, political and spiritual archive. Oceans, rivers and submerged landscapes appear as sites where memory, resistance and survival converge. Informed by hydrofeminist and decolonial ecological thought, I approach water not as a passive resource but as an active agent carrying ancestral knowledge and proposing relational ways of living. Since 2020, I have developed a long term science-fiction narrative in collaboration with sound artist Fallon Mayanja, exploring underwater communities shaped by adaptation, diasporic memory and collective healing.
